sciences (aviation), business, education, engineering, kinesiology, the

SACS: LeTourneau is accredited by the Commission on
Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern

ABET:
LeTourneau University’s engineering and engineering technology programs are
accredited by the Engineering and the Technology Accreditation Commissions of

IACBE: LeTourneau University’s business program is
accredited through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business
Education.
SBEC: The Texas State Board
for Educator Certification has approved LeTourneau University as an
undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, graduate and “No Child Left Behind” compliant
certification program. LeTourneau’s main campus is in Longview (Region 7)
and also conducts the program through centers in Houston, Austin, Bedford,
Dallas, and Tyler.
MEMBERSHIPS: LeTourneau
University also is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and
Universities (CCCU), the
Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)
and numerous other professional organizations.
ATHLETICS: With 13 varsity
sports, LeTourneau University is a member of the National Collegiate Athletics
Association (NCAA) as a Division III school in the American Southwest
Conference and is a member of the National Christian College Athletic
Association (NCCAA).
RESEARCH: Research
conducted on campus ranges through a variety of academic disciplines including
business (capital budget analysis, project management, marketing research),
engineering (design, materials testing and failure analysis, materials joining
and welding, biomedical analysis), computer science (software development) and
math/sciences (mathematical analysis, molecular modeling and soil
microbiology).
FACILITIES: Providing total
meeting management, LeTourneau University offers excellent facilities for
rental, including classrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums and a
chapel for weddings. Depending on availability, the university can arrange
overnight accommodations as well as banquet and catering service for groups up
