Our new accelerated online degree is designed for busy educators like you who want to advance their careers while remaining in the teaching profession.  This program is also designed for those professionals not actively involved in education, but are interested in expanding their knowledge through a combination of high-end MBA curriculum and specific leadership applicable to the education arena.

In the demanding and constantly changing world of education, it is important for school administrators and business professionals to have a strong understanding of business and leadership. It is especially important to have a firm grasp of fundamental concepts such as budget, personnel planning, school finance and economics.

In the state of Texas, almost 40% of all campus principals for P-12 schools will be eligible to retire in the next decade.  It’s very important that schools have an opportunity to identify potential leaders for their campuses and begin the process of preparing them to fill these vacancies.  For those qualified students who meet the state requirements for principalship certification (see admission and internship requirements), this degree program is also SBEC approved to qualify future principals to apply to the State Certification Office to take the TExAS Principal exam.

While our MBA in Educational Leadership program primarily targets state certified teachers who want to pursue their graduate degree and/or prepare for a leadership position in school administration, this professional degree can also meet the needs of those professionals wanting to broaden their scope of knowledge in the combined areas of business and educational leadership.

CONVENIENT PROGRAM FORMAT
Our online accelerated program allows you the flexibility to earn your MBA without sacrificing your current job. There are three start dates each year with each group beginning with 16-22 students who complete one online course at a time in a lock-step format with each course lasting 5 to 7 weeks.  The entire degree and/or certification can be completed in two years or less.  The completely online delivery format allows you the opportunity to complete your coursework anytime and anywhere you choose.
