The LeTourneau University Mail Center is here to provide you with mail and package pick-up and delivery and other related services. Before you arrive, we will assign you a CPO box that will be yours for the entire time you reside at LeTourneau University. You can find this box assignment and your combination on your MyLETU page under housing information.
You may begin ordering your books or other items you need and have them sent here. They will be waiting for you when you arrive.
Please ensure your full name is on all mail and packages received. We receive many packages that simply say LeTourneau University. We serve over 2000 people at LETU and will not know who the package is for if your name is not on it.
Please also ensure that your CPO # is on any mail received. We often have people with the same first and last name and we want to ensure you receive your mail.
Fed Ex and UPS will not deliver to a PO Box so please make sure you use the physical address if you are unsure of shipper used.
We are open Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We close on M, W & F from 10:45 to 11:30 for chapel. We are closed weekends and on all campus holidays.
We will be open the weekend before classes start (orientation weekend) during limited hours for you to pick up any linens or books that have already been delivered to the university.
Mail is delivered to LETU’s post office box at the post office down the street. We pick up all mail and packages that come through the Postal Service at 8:00 am Monday through Friday. We then sort the mail and check in packages. Your mail should be in your CPO box around 11:00 each morning and package slips will be placed in your box depending on when the packages are finished being checked in. We have 3 FedEx, 1 UPS and DHL deliveries that arrive at various times each day. We sign for all packages so we must check them into our computer system and then you must sign for them to pick them up. We process these as quickly as possible with USPS being processed first, followed by the other carriers in the order they arrive. You MUST have your package slip in your CPO to pick up your package. We are unable to find a package until it has been fully processed.
We do not notify you by e-mail that you have a package unless it is perishable. You will need to check your CPO box at least 2 or 3 times a week as you will receive things from the University, as well as any mail that is sent from outside sources.
Mail received through the post office is delayed by one day. If an e-mail or online tracking says your package shipped by USPS has been delivered, that means the post office has it and we will pick it up the next morning.
Please inform people who need to send you something overnight to use FedEx or UPS as you will not receive an overnight package from the post office for an additional day.
Envelopes and stamps are available for purchase at the mail center. You can ship most packages through the US Postal Service or by FedEx at the mail center as well, but we cannot ship packages to international addresses - those will need to be taken to the nearest post office or FedEx office.
We do not sell boxes at the mail center, nor do we package your shipment, but we have packing tape available. We do carry some USPS flat rate boxes and FedEx envelopes and boxes that can be used for express shipments.
We also serve as a FedEx drop off location. You may drop prepaid FedEx packages here.
UPS picks up here as well, but not every day. You may bring your prepaid UPS package here, but it may be several days before it is picked up.
We also have copy services, fax services, and scanning available. Please see the print shop website for copy and print service information.
