This four-year B.S. degree is similar to our engineering degree, but emphasizes more application of theory and less development of theory than engineering.
As a result, you will spend less time on mathematical derivations and
more time on application of existing theory.

Our two-year A.S. degree in design technology prepares you for a career
in the field of technical design.
Computer-aided drafting and design is emphasized throughout the
curriculum to give the graduate the latest tools to contribute as a
drafter/designer to the technical team on a variety of design projects.
In addition, this two-year degree may be combined with business,
aeronautical science or engineering technology in a four-year
curriculum.
