Orientation
New student orientation, held prior to the beginning of your first semester, introduces new and transfer students to the faculty and staff, and will acquaint students with the University's educational philosophy, policies, and regulations. In addition, orientation should help you to begin to develop friendships with other students and to feel a sense of belonging. The Edge is designed to give students an opportunity to register for fall classes, to obtain student housing, and to become acquainted with the campus. The Edge is held in June, and July. Orientation is a vital part of introduction to college life and is an important part of a student's educational experience. Attendance to Fall Orientation is required of all new and transfer students.
