James Wright, one of the most decorated players in LeTourneau University soccer history, will serve as an assistant coach for the fourth straight season. A native of Grimsby, England, Wright played, started and was team captain four straight years for the YellowJackets and earned numerous postseason awards, including NCCAA and NAIA All-America honors.

Wright was voted to the National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association (NSCAA) All-America first team.

He also coaches the Longview High School boys team.
