Cross Country Places 3^rd at Southern Arkansas Invitational

MAGNOLIA, ARK. – The LeTourneau University harriers fared well, garnering a third place finish at the Southern Arkansas Invitational on Saturday morning.

“I was very happy with our performance.  We had quite a few personal best’s today,” said head coach Minnette Langley.

The YellowJackets had three men finish in the top-20.  Junior Nate Singer (Wilmington, DE) finished 11^th in a time of 29:38 over the five mile course.  Senior Jonathan Dylhoff (West Chicago, IL/Wheaton Academy) and freshman Joshua Maughon (Ooltewah, TN/Chattanooga Christian School) finished 18^th and 19^th respectively.

On the women’s side, freshman Heidi Sanders (Sugar Land/Fort Bend Austin HS) finished in eighth place in a time of 20:46 over the 5K course.  “Heidi has been great, she just keeps getting better and better,” said Langley.

The team travels to Tyler on Friday to compete in the UT Tyler Invitational.
