Center for the Development of Christian Leadership
The Center for the Development of Christian Leadership exists to aid all students, faculty, and staff in integrating our Christian Leadership Distinctives into all aspects of our university community. These five distinctives provide an educational framework for all we do as an institution of higher learning. The distinctives are:
As a Christian you are called to carry on the very work of Christ in this world. Serving as an ambassador of Christ, you are a Christian leader. You don't have to me a mayor or a CEO to lead. You can affect society and culture wherever you are, as long as you are intentional in what you do, and are willing to engage people in deeper ways. At LeTourneau, students are challenged to go forth from the University, not just with the academic and professional skills to be good business men or women or good teachers, but to leave here with something more - an attitude of leadership, a desire to make a difference, a commitment to change the world for the glory of God.
