Overview
LeTourneau University is a fully accredited, interdenominational Christian university based in Longview, Texas with a total enrollment of more than 3,758 students. It offers more than 60 academic majors, including the flagship programs of aeronautical science and engineering, as well as quality programs in technology, business, the liberal arts, natural sciences, mathematics and computer sciences, education and kinesiology. LeTourneau University also offers graduate and undergraduate business degrees and teacher certification programs at five satellite educational centers in Austin, Bedford, Dallas, Houston and Tyler.
The student population is diverse, coming from almost
every state and about 25 nations and is academically strong with the average SAT
scores typically 140 to 160 points higher, and ACT scores averaging five points
higher than the national average. LeTourneau University is a member of the Council for
Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability
(ECFA) and numerous other professional
organizations.
