What Affects my Visa Status?

Many small changes in your personal or academic life can affect your Visa status. Below is a list of possible events that might affect your Visa status. If you have any questions or don’t know if something might affect your Visa status, please contact Marta Martin or Mrs. Esther Aubert

Who Can Help Me?

Mrs. Esther Aubert, at the Office of the Registrar’s will help you in addition to Ms. Martin, Director of International Studies and Ms. Linda Higgs, Coordinator of Student Services and International Students.

What Do I Need to Do?

Contact Mrs. Aubert AS SOON AS POSSIBLE* anytime you have a change in the following:

• change of address
• change of name
• change in marital status
• change in number of hours taking in university
• change in major or discipline
• change in employment
• early graduation
• school probation
• transfers
• renew your passport
• renew your visa
• travel
• transfer to another school
• need to extend program end date
• request CPT or OPT
