What is a Study Skills Consultation?
Mastering academic skills remains one of the most challenging issues for university students today. Our Study Skills Coaches are undergraduate students trained to help you master the academic skills you need to be successful in your college courses. These appointments with a study skills coach can help you discover strategies targeted to your specific learning style and needs. Application is always made to your current course work.
Our Study Skill Coaches will help you:
- Meet the challenge and responsibility of college learning
- Improve the quality of your academic performance
- Get the most out of the time you invest in learning
- Become a more confident and independent learner
- Prepare for life-long learning
Free assistance is available for the following:
- Note Taking
- Reading Comprehension
- Time Management
- Test Taking
- Test Preparation
- Test Anxiety
- Concentration
Location & Hours
All study skills consultations are located in the Achievement Resource Center (ARC) in the Student Affairs building next to Glaske Center and are scheduled Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. To schedule an appointment for an individual study skills consultation, contact ARC@letu.edu
