Student Organizations

Involvement is a major part of student success and a key component to a well-rounded college experience.

Here at LETU, we have a ton of student clubs and organizations on campus, and we want you to get involved.

Most departments host chapters of national and international academic societies, including:

• Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers
• American Society of Mechanical Engineers
• American Welding Society
• International Honor Society for Business, Management and Administration
• International English Honor Society

If you want a break from academics, we also host a variety of student clubs, such as:

• Outdoor Club
• Parkour and Free Running Club — Watch their Hootenanny performance
• Rugby Club
• Chess Club
• Stage Right (Theater Club)
• Veteran’s Club

More student organizations are created each year, meaning you’ll have dozens of opportunities to participate! You could even join one of LeTourneau’s societies:

• Alpha Omega (AO) — Men's Residential Society
• Automotive Society (AS)
• Delta Omega Kappa (Daughters Of the King) — Women's Society
• Kappa Zeta Chi (KZX) — Men's Residential Society
• Lambda Alpha Sigma (LAS) — Men's Residential Aviation Society

Besides the leadership experience you can attain, you will have plenty of opportunities to get to know other people that share your likes and strengths, and you'll interact with faculty and staff on a much more personal level.
