How do I make a payment?

Payments can be made by cash, check or debit or credit card.

Cash Payments can be made through the Cashier Office located on the 2nd floor of the library.  The Cashier’s Office hours are 9 to 4 Monday through Friday.  Cash should not be mailed in.

Payment by Check can be made at the Cashier’s Office, online by e-check or mailed to the Student Accounts Office.  Please provide your name and ID number on the memo line of checks that are mailed in.  Payments can be mailed to:

Payment by Debit or Credit Card can be made at the Cashier’s Office or online through your Nelnet portal.

Payment by non USD currency can be made through FlyWire.  FlyWire assists students with making payment from almost any country and any bank.  They offer excellent foreign exchange rates.  FlyWire will walk students through the process of initiating the wire transfer through their home bank.

How do I make payment by e-check?

Payment for tuition and student account related charges can be made by e-check.  To make a payment by e-check, log in to your MyLETU account, select the Student Accounts tab, and then select Make a Tuition Payment.  If this is the first time that you have visited the Nelnet website, you be asked to Create an Account.  After Creating an Account, you will be directed to your Nelnet Homepage where you can select Make a Payment.  You will then follow the prompts to select the payment option.  You will select Bank Account to make an electronic payment from your checking account.  You can also make an electronic payment from your savings account.

How do I make a payment by Debit or Credit Card online?

Payment for tuition and student account related charges can be made online by debit or credit card.   To make a payment by debit or credit card, log in to your MyLETU account, select the Student Accounts tab, and then select Make a Tuition Payment.  If this is the first time that you have visited the Nelnet website, you be asked to Create an Account.  After Creating an Account, you will be directed to your Nelnet Homepage where you can select Make a Payment.  You will then follow the prompts to select the payment option.  You will select Credit/Debit Card to make payment. 

All payments made by Debit or Credit Card are assessed a 2.75% Convenience Fee by our Third Party Payment Processor at the time of payment.  For more information about Credit Card Convenience fees, please click here.

Will I be assessed a fee for using my Debit or Credit Card?

Yes, all payments made by Debit or Credit card are assessed a 2.75% Convenience Fee by our Third Party Payment Processor.  Payments made by e-check, checks, or cash will not be assessed a Convenience Fee.

Can anyone else make payment on my account?

Yes, through your Nelnet portal, you as a student can set up an Authorized Party who can be granted access to make payments on your student account.  You will control what level of access the Authorized Party will have to your account details. 

To set up an Authorized Party, log in to your MyLETU account, select the Student Accounts tab, and then select Make a Tuition Payment.  If this is the first time that you have visited the Nelnet website, you be asked to Create an Account.  After Creating an Account, you will be directed to your Nelnet Homepage.  Select Add an Authorized Party.

Once you have provided the information necessary to Add an Authorized Party, Nelnet will send an email to the person you have selected and he or she will follow the prompts to establsih an account.

Can anyone else access my student account?

Only students and Authorized Parties who have been given access will be able to access information on your Nelnet portal.

Does the addition of an Authorized Party give FERPA rights to that individual?

No.  Authorized Parties will have access to information that the student grants them access to through their Nelnet portal.  This does not give the Authorized Party any access to financial or educational records directly from LeTourneau University.

Can I save my payment method for future use?

Yes, when you set up a payment through your Nelnet portal, the payment information can be saved for future payments.
