Women's Basketball Earns Team Sportsmanship Award

RICHARDSON, TEXAS – The Howard Payne University and Louisiana College men’s basketball teams, and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and LeTourneau University women’s basketball teams are the winners of American Southwest Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Team Sportsmanship Awards for winter sports, the conference office announced on Wednesday (March 26).

The Howard Payne men and Mary Hardin-Baylor women represented the West Division, while the Louisiana College men and LeTourneau women took honors in the East Division.

“I am extremely pleased with the Christian model that our young ladies displayed representing LeTourneau University this year,” said head coach Corey Thomaston.
