Men’s soccer places five on All-ASC teams
RICHARDSON, Texas
– The LeTourneau University men’s soccer team placed five players
Wednesday on the All-American Southwest Conference teams.
Dillion Holt (MF, SO, 5-10, Boerne, Texas) was the lone YellowJacket
to be named to the ASC First Team. Holt had a banner year for LeTourneau, leading the team in goals
and points. He finished with 13 goals and one assist for 27 points. Holt also had four game-winning
goals.
Trey McLaughlin (F, SO, 5-11, Sunnyvale, Texas) was selected to the
second team. McLaughlin was second on the team in goal and points, finishing with five goals, four
assists and 14 points.
LeTourneau had three players – Patrick Thompson, Ben Stoeckman and
Sergio Palacios - selected to the All-ASC Honorable Mention team.
Thompson (D, SO, 6-2, Southlake, Texas) was a very solid defender for
the YellowJackets, playing and starting in 17 games. He recorded on goal. Stoeckman (M, SO, 5-8,
