To start using Blackboard immediately in your course, follow one or more of the suggestions
below:
- Enroll Students . If you teach evening courses for working adults, you MUST ADD YOUR STUDENTS to your course site (click Control Panel, then click Enroll User); this MUST be done before your students can access your course. If you teach traditional undergraduate courses or online courses, your students are automatically added to your course sites.
- E-mail. Send e-mails to your students (click Communication, then click Send E-mail).
- Online Discussions. Create a Discussion Board forum for online discussions (click Communication, then click Discussion Board, then click Add Forum).
- Post Materials. Upload your syllabus, handouts, or other course material (click Control Panel, then click the content area where you want to add material)
- Gradebook. Add items and grades to your online gradebook to provide feedback to your students (click Control Panel, then click Gradebook); they'll check their grades by clicking Tools, then View Grades
