After logging into MyLETU Courses, you'll see two tabs across the top:
1) Home tab:
- Use the Pencil icon at top right of My Courses section to indicate which of your courses should appear in your course listing
- Click a course title in My Courses section to access a course site
2) Courses tab:
- Lists all MyLETU Courses sites that you are associated with
- Students in traditional undergraduate courses and online courses should automatically see links to all of their course sites; working adult students taking evening courses will not see links to their course sites until their instructors add them to the course site
Inside a MyLETU Coursescourse site, you'll see course menu items listed along the left side of
the screen. Typical MyLETU Courses course menu items are as follows:
-
Announcements Notices to class members about deadlines, upcoming events, etc.
-
Course Information Information about the course, such as the course description, objectives, grading policies, and the course schedule
-
Staff Information Information about the instructor and teaching assistants, including photographs and personal links
-
Course Documents Course-related reading material, such as PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and past sample reports
-
Assignments Descriptions of homework and other assignments; includes online quizzes and surveys
-
Communication Send e-mail, discussion board, virtual classroom for chatting, class roster (and access to student pages), group pages
-
Tools Student access to the digital dropbox for submitting assignments, edit student home pages, edit personal information, course calendar and tasks, check grades, student manual, electronic blackboard
-
<Additional Buttons> Instructors have the option of customizing their course menus, so your course may have additional buttons for groups, projects, etc.
-
Control Panel Instructor tools for creating and managing course sites
For information about when courses and user accounts are created, and when students will have
access to their course sites, click

To start using MyLETU Courses immediately in your course:
-
E-mail.
Send e-mails to your classmates (click Communication, then click Send E-mail)
- Upload a file. If you have a large file that you need to have in class, you can post it to your Digital Drop Box from home and then access it in the classroom (click Tools, then Digital Drop Box, then Add File)
Then once your instructor creates online Discussion Board forums, posts some course materials,
enters grades, or creates group pages for group projects, you can access those components of your
course site as well. Be sure to look through the tutorials and documentation section of the
Student Resources link at
http://online.letu.edu for more information.
