Blackboard Resources for Students
LeTourneau University uses
Blackboard Learning System to
provide web sites and communication tools for all students and instructors. The tutorials and
documentation listed below are designed to assist students who are new to Blackboard. If you have
any additional questions about using Blackboard, check with your instructor first. If your
instructor is unable to answer your question or resolve the problem, then send an e-mail message
to
blackboard@letu.edu
Courses and User Accounts
All faculty and students are given Blackboard user accounts. Course sites are handled differently depending on the type of course, as described below:
Blackboard Resources
- Getting Started in Your Blackboard Learning System Course -- A quick tutorial from Blackboard to help students get started using Blackboard in their courses.
- User Manual -- A 139 page downloadable manual that describes all features within Blackboard. This manual is also available in HTML format within each Blackboard course site, inside the Tools section.
- Support Site for Blackboard (the company) -- To access the great training materials on this site, you will need to create an account and indicate that you are a student using Blackboard.
