Full-time position, primarily weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional weekend and other hours will be required. There will be periodic travel required.


The Director will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, which serve the alumni and parent constituencies. Specific responsibilities of the Director include maintaining and expanding personal contact with LeTourneau’s traditional and non-traditional alumni populations, informing them of the programs and progress of the university, encouraging their participation in a variety of alumni program and activities and maintaining all alumni records. Additionally, the Director will provide coordination for all reunions, Homecoming, and other major events for alumni as well as authoring and editing alumni and parent articles for the University Relations office and the NOW magazine editorial staff.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following functions:
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates programs to serve the alumni and parent constituencies.
  • Supervises and supports the organization and activities of the Alumni Advisory Council and Parent Advisory Council.
  • Oversees the organization and activities of Homecoming and all reunions.
  • Oversees the organization and activities of Parent & Family Weekend
  • Manages the development and updating of the alumni online community product. Authors and publishes content on the alumni and parents web pages within the university website.
  • During the August new student orientation weekend, the Director provides activities for new parents.
  • Supports and participates in the identification, cultivation and solicitation of donors for the support of university fundraising initiatives including the LeTourneau University Annual Fund, major capital, building and/or comprehensive campaigns.
  • Supervises the Assistant to the Director of Alumni & Parent Relations.


  • Assists and cooperates with all other members of the Development staff team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
