LeTourneau University’s School of Aeronautical Science is housed in an outstanding facility located at the East Texas Regional Airport. The newly renovated 55,500-square-foot building complex features:
  • Student lounge of 400 square feet, conveniently located on a main corridor

  • Flight training area, 3,350 square feet, includes: flight instructor office area, student flight planning area, flight dispatch counter and waiting area adjacent to the aircraft flight line access door
  • Four classrooms appropriately configured for aeronautical science courses and designed to individually accommodate classes of 23, 33, 39 and 56 students
  • Nine purpose-built laboratories tailored to support highly specialized lab courses
  • Technical labs of 14,118 square feet, contiguous and used by the Applied Aviation Sciences Department
  • Walk-through and overhead doors allowing easy access to the training aircraft and Marty Donner Engine Test Facility
  • Administrative suite, with offices for dean, department chairs and other administrative staff
