Support Students

Support student scholarships with a gift to the LeTourneau University Annual Fund which supports academic programs, funds campus improvements and provides resources to improve the quality of the LeTourneau University experience.

Fill the gap between what it costs LeTourneau University to educate a student and the tuition paid by the student.  For example, Annual Fund gifts:

• Provide scholarships for students who could not otherwise afford the LeTourneau University experience.
• Enable us to recruit and retain the best teaching faculty for our classrooms.
• Supply upgrades and improvements to the campus technology and computer labs.
• Support student ministries, student activities and other community outreach projects like Longview Blitz.

Each year, the Annual Fund goal is $800,000.

For example, your gift of...

• $30 provides DVD blanks to record student speeches
• $150 purchases a body composition device for kinesiology students
• $215 funds the presentation of one leadership symposium
• $310 provides work-study wages for one semester for an aviation student lab assistant
• $550 provides a polar heart rate watch used to teach measurement in kinesiology classes
• $805 funds a faculty member to attent a professional conference or industry workshop
• $1,000 provides supplies for the freshman community service project, Longview Blitz
• $1,050 pays the wages for a math lab tutor
• $1,700 funds a "SMART" dry erase board that interfaces with a computer during teacher education training
• $2,500 underwrites a scholarship for a student for one semester
• $3,000 funds an East Texas Presidential Scholarship
