Tuition Equalization Grant (TEG)

Texas residents attending a private institution in Texas, such as LeTourneau University, are eligible to be considered for a Tuition Equalization Grant (TEG) from the state of Texas. Grants are need-based and for the 2012-2013 year may be up to $3,500 per year. Students who have completed the FAFSA and have been accepted for admission will be nominated to the state agency for this grant by the Financial Aid Office. Students must earn and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.0 scale and complete at least 24 credit hours per year.  Three-quarter time enrollment is required. Steps to applying for Financial Aid

  1. Be accepted for admission to LETU
  2. File the 2012-2013 FAFSA
  3. If selected for verification, complete the verification form.
After completing Steps 1-3, your file will be evaluated by the financial aid office and an award letter will be sent to your LETU e-mail address.
