Financial Assistance

Most International Students should plan on paying for the majority or their LETU education. Major fees include:

  • Tuition/semester
  • Room & Board/semester (with roommate)
  • Students studying certain aeronautical science degree concentrations will also have additional flight fees.

In order to attend, LETU also requires that all international students have either:

  1. Insurance from their own country (that is honored in the United States)
  2. A U.S. insurance policy
  3. LeTourneau University's insurance policy. Please find more details here.

International students are eligible for LETU's Merit-Based Financial Aid, such as the Honors, Deans and Presidential Scholarships. LETU is not able to assist students in searching for sponsors or aid outside of these scholarships.

International Students must prove that they can afford one year of education at LETU in order obtain a student visa. In order to meet the proof of financial resources requirement, please have your bank send a copy of your bank statement to Marta E. Martin, Director of International Studies: martmartin@letu.edu. The submitted monetary documentation must show you have the resources to cover the cost of one academic year (two semesters) at LETU

A wide variety of part-time jobs are available on campus for international students who lack the necessary legal visa to work in the United States.

Financial Aid questions may be sent to finaid@letu.edu
