Checklist For 9th-11th Grade Students

Want to be well on your way to LETU even before your senior year? Here's our advice:

☐  Pray and seek God’s wisdom. College searching is a big deal! Don't forget that in everything, seek the Lord's will for you in life.

☐  Look through our degree programs to get an idea of courses required for each respective degree at www.letu.edu/catalog.

☐  Apply online at www.letu.edu/apply immediately after completion of your junior year.

☐  Register to attend one of our preview events. This is most advantageous in getting acquainted with faculty and staff and gaining a better perception of opportunities at LETU. Learn more at www.letu.edu/preview.

☐  Begin working on your résumé by putting together a list of achievements, awards, leadership experience, etc. To see an example résumé, click here. Or submit your résumé with your application here.

☐  Once you complete your junior year, ask your high school counselor to send your official transcript to:

         ATTN: Office of Undergraduate Admissions
         P.O. Box 7001
         Longview, TX 75607-7001

☐  Take the SAT/ACT early and request for your scores to be sent to LeTourneau electronically using the following codes:
         SAT: school code 6365
         ACT: school code 4120

☐  In the meantime, look at our listing of scholarships at www.letu.edu/scholarship to see what opportunities are available for your financial aid package.

☐  Go to www.letu.edu/finaid for additional financial aid information and links to other scholarship sources.

☐  Submit your FAFSA application as soon as possible after January 1 of your senior year by going to www.fafsa.gov and request for your FAFSA information to be sent to us electronically by using our school code 003584.

☐  Contact your Enrollment Officer by major or interest (toll-free at 1-800-759-8811).
