Washington Journalism Center
The Washington Journalism Center (WJC) is a semester-long study program in Washington, DC, created for students interested in the field of journalism. While in Washington students will take classes focusing on the history and future of the media and how it relates to the public as well as to their personal writing skills. These classes —
- Foundations for Media Involvement
- Reporting in Washington
- Washington, News and Public Discourse
— combined with an internship at a top news publication will help students learn to integrate their faith in a journalism career. Students will stay in the Dellenback Center (along with students from the American Studies Program) and will participate in several service learning opportunities within the DC community.
The WAJC Courses are only offered through the Washington Journalism Center of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities.
