Do you feel at your best when helping someone solve a personal dilemma or work through some of their issues? Well, in a nut shell, that is what you would do with a degree in counseling psychology.

Counseling psychologists often work with patients who are dealing with difficult life issues or struggling with less-severe cases of mental disorders. However, many different career paths are available.

Through a combination of theory, research, and practice, you will learn to help guide people to improve their well-beings and lead better lives. You will learn the techniques, skills, and theories necessary to help you obtain a successful career in counseling or entry into graduate school.
