In the simplest terms, kinesiology is the study of human movement, and at LETU, we study movement from the simple to the extreme!

Our students dig deep into the fields they love with hands-on internship experience and quality training to help them make a major impact in a vast variety of education and health-related fields - two of the top areas for a stable, in-demand career.

As a student in the Department of Kinesiology at LeTourneau University, faculty and staff invest time and energy in you and your education. The Kinesiology Department strives to:

• Nurture our students and help them find God’s plan in their lives.
• Provide the best learning environment for our students including activities, lectures and lab courses.
• Encourage students to question, integrate, analyze, communicate and apply kinesiology concepts.
• Grow in our faith and seek God in everything we do.

As a department we believe we must:

• Teach students the technical, relational and spiritual skills they need to succeed.
• Use hands-on activities combined with academic teaching.
• Prepare each student for the ministry they have been called to do.
