TRAD, TEACH, MEL, and MEd in Educational Administration students:

 

Your degree must be conferred before recommendation can take place.  If you walk in a graduation ceremony, but have not completed all coursework, your degree may not be conferred until the following conferral date.  The university confers degrees in May, August, and December.

 

Projected Recommendation Dates

Fall 2009

Students who complete the requirements for standard certification in December 2009:
Continue to check your LETU e-mail regularly in case the Office of Educator Certification is attempting to contact you regarding your recommendation. All recommendations should be made by January 29, 2010 as long as the student is clear on any university holds. 

Spring 2010

Students who complete the requirements for standard certification in April/May 2010:
Continue to check your LETU e-mail regularly in case the Office of Educator Certification is attempting to contact you regarding your recommendation. All recommendations should be made by June 11, 2010 as long as the student is clear on any university holds.

Summer 2010

Students who complete the requirements for standard certification in August 2010:
Continue to check your LETU e-mail regularly in case the Office of Educator Certification is attempting to contact you regarding your recommendation. All recommendations should be made by September 24, 2010 as long as the student is clear on any university holds.
