Majors in the LeTourneau School of Business
Our degrees offer students a strong foundation of general education courses, a solid core of business courses and specialized study in a specific area of business. LETU business majors graduate equipped to enter the world of commerce with a well-rounded business education, with both classroom and real world experience – all on the foundations of faith.
LeTourneau’s business programs are designed to prepare students for the global economy with focused classroom instruction, required internship experiences, co-curricular activities and the opportunity to study abroad -- All so our students can make a unique impact with their God-given gifts in every workplace in every nation.
All major options offered in the School of Business focus on a specific aspect within the business field. After completing the core business courses, students learn the intricate details of their desired major through advanced and specified courses. Students will graduate from LeTourneau University with knowledge of basic business principles as well as confidence in their declared major. Incoming freshman may be unsure which major to declare. Our faculty is more than willing to guide students in this important decision. Highlight of the Month
Several of Dr. Juan Castro's Finance students submitted work that was accepted for
Samuel Epp and Erika Lacy - S&P Downgrades US Credit Rating and the Effect Wells Fargo Company
Jennifer Hamilton and Dave Stark- Abnormal Returns in the Japanese Market.
Eric Boone, Jacob Clay, and Jonathan Kalkan– Efficient Market Hypothesis.
The conference takes place on March 30, 2012 in the Federal Reserve of Dallas. These students should be very proud of their hard work to produce such insightful research. Only 35 of the 90 papers submitted will be presented. What an honor!
