LeTourneau University - Math - Degrees

Our mathematics program is unique because of its flexibility. You will work one-on-one with an adviser at LETU who will help you choose classes in both mathematics and another area that will best benefit you.

If you want to apply mathematics in business, we’ll point you to economics and other business classes. If math applied to engineering is what you’re interested in, your advisor can help you choose classes from one of our highly recognized engineering programs. We design your degree to help you pursue your goals.

Mathematics, Bachelor of Science

Students who graduate with our bachelor's degree in math will have developed the analytical and problem solving skills needed in fields such as quality control, insurance statistics, industrial mathematical programming, and computer programming. This major will teach you higher level math skills that businesses value.

LETU also offers bachelor's degrees in math through our Department of Teacher Education with a focus in either computer information systems or physics.

Mathematics Minor

You’ll take 18 hours of challenging but helpful math courses to sharpen your problem solving and thinking skills that are valuable for a variety of careers.
