Boren Scholarships: Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 to U.S. undergraduate students to study abroad in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
The Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship: The Pickering Undergraduate Fellowship selects undergraduate students in their junior year of college and provides funding to participants as they are prepared academically and professionally to enter the United States Department of State Foreign Service. Women, members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, and students with financial need are encouraged to apply.
Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarships: The Ambassadorial Scholarships program promotes international understanding and friendly relations among people of different parts of the world by offering study abroad scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professionals pursuing vocational studies.
CIEE Study Abroad: Each year, CIEE awards over $1 million in scholarships to students who plan to study overseas on our programs. This financial aid can be applied towards, or even defray, program fees and travel costs.
LeTourneau University students have spent semesters abroad in a variety of locations, from Egypt to China. Also, each year student academic trips are taken to countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region (these trips have focused on Egypt, Israel, Greece and Turkey. Additional study trips have also taken place in Latin America and Africa.
