LeTourneau University has a new avenue to access every workplace in every nation. With our dual-degree nursing program in partnership with the University of Texas at Tyler, LETU students can more expansively touch hearts and impact lives worldwide – as godly health professionals.
The LeTourneau – UT Tyler partnership is a natural extension of LETU’s distinct global vision and faith-based servant leadership, as well as our commitment to academic excellence and practical preparation—now adding the area of nursing.
Our nursing students will not only learn and serve in local hospitals, but also around the world – through global service-learning experiences. Led by LETU’s director of nursing, a credentialed nursing professor, these clinical service missions take students' skills across borders to provide hands-on care to nations in need.
Nursing courses will be taught in Longview, making it possible for nursing students to live with their friends on the LETU campus—all four years. That makes for a full college experience life at LETU, from belonging to student organizations or participating in intramurals, to attending chapel and other fun events. Learn more about our on-campus community.
What’s exciting about a dual adventure like this? Collaborate with UT Tyler nursing majors both inside and outside classrooms and clinics, whether it’s learning in lab or getting to know each other in extra curricular student groups, such as Nurses Christian Fellowship.
