As LeTourneau University’s director of nursing, Kendra Ericson serves students through academic advising and classroom learning, as well as local and global clinical experiences.

Ericson brings nursing industry experience to LETU, including a decade of proven leadership in nursing education. She attended Illinois State University and graduated from the Trinity College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science Nursing in 2001. In 2008, she received her Master of Science Nursing from the University of Phoenix.

Prior to arriving at LETU in May 2010, Ericson facilitated the online environment of professional learning for RN-BSN students with the University of Texas-Arlington, teaching professional nursing, health, research, leadership and management courses. She simultaneously served as the nursing development coordinator at McKinney Medical Center, in McKinney, Texas, where she oversaw staff members and conducted partnerships with colleges to facilitate student placement and learning. In this role, she also developed new courses and curriculum and established externship and internship initiatives. She previously served on the nursing faculty at the Columbia College in Nursing, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Bryant & Stratton College, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; and Eastern Iowa Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa. That's in addition to seven years of professional nursing experience.
