OWLET

The English Department at LeTourneau University maintains a project that provides ongoing training and support for student writers in all departments of the university: OwLet - Online Writing and Learning at LeTourneau University.

The OwLet provides tutorial help for writing projects assigned in all departments, both through Web page instruction and interactive feedback from a trained student tutor. OwLet also offers tutorial units that guide users through the development of their writing skills.

The OwLet provides an opportunity for English majors and other qualified students to receive training and to gain experience in an internship setting as online writing tutors. OwLet has been accessed by students across the United States and from numerous foreign countries.
