Arturo Morales

Assistant Professor – Spanish

Mexico City native Arturo Morales joined the faculty of LeTourneau University in August, 2003. He is responsible for all the Spanish classes offered at the Longview campus. Arturo brings more than 5 years of teaching experience in an institution of higher learning as well as a diverse academic background, going from Administration and Finance (B.B.A.), to Foreign Languages (M.A.), to Instructional Technology (Ph.D. – ABD).

In addition to his teaching at LeTourneau University, Arturo is also busy finishing his doctoral dissertation. His research is mainly focused on the development of interactive multimedia applications in second language acquisition.

Arturo, together with his wife Myra, moved from Starkville, Mississippi, where they served as campus pastors of Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Mississippi State University.  Their young children, Judah and "Kenzie," are a blessing to their home.  Besides teaching, he also enjoys leading praise and worship, playing the piano, ping-pong, and soccer.
