It is very important when evaluating assistive device function to get the users input.
Since 2008, LeTourneau University students have been involved in developing a questionnaire to get the users input on the function of lower limb prosthetics and orthotics. Data was collected in conjunction with other gait analysis tools such as the GAITRite computerized gait mat which collects temporal and spatial stride and step characteristics.

Currently, on-going work is underway in collaboration with Dr. Jan Andrysek at the University of Toronto to refine and validate this questionnaire.
