We currently have alumni continuing their education in graduate schools studying such things as medicine, dentistry, physician assistant, biotechnology, cell biology, plant pathology, forestry and animal nutrition.
Real Students - Real Experiences
“LETU is very intentional about knowing the
requirements for medical careers and graduate schools. The faculty is really good at implementing
those requirements into a general major.”
“My friends who have completed this program and are in professional schools have told me that they are beyond well prepared for their fields of study. Apparently, because of their prep work here at LETU, alumni end up as big time leaders in their first few years of professional school.”
“The biology department professors are willing to help you. They will take the time to explain something if you don't understand. When the course is over, you know the skills you’ve learned will prepare you for what's ahead.”

Distinctives of the student experience in Biology:
We teach the life sciences from a Christian viewpoint including the origin of life and bioethics. We affirm God as the Creator of all and believe that highly significant physical evidence exists to support this belief. We provide advising for our students that is supportive and personal. Our program provides hands-on learning in laboratories and in clinical observations.“My friends who have completed this program and are in professional schools have told me that they are beyond well prepared for their fields of study. Apparently, because of their prep work here at LETU, alumni end up as big time leaders in their first few years of professional school.”
