April 13, 2010 - MAF pilot and LETU alumnus Scott Channon visited LeTourneau to introduce students to one of
Mission Aviation Fellowship's new Kodiaks. This Kodiak was taken to Haiti for relief efforts one week after the hurricane, the first-ever use of this specially designed airplane in disaster relief work, and was soon on its way to Indonesia. With the ability to carry more cargo and people than Cessnas while utilizing short strips, the Kodiak is a great asset to MAF's mission to bring medical aid, community development support, food and disaster relief to communities in need.
