Thanks to James Denton for the screen shots and steps for this instruction page.

These instructions should work with any Linux distribution that uses Gnome. The davfs2 driver is required, and should be installed in most distributions by default.

1. Click the "Places" menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Select "Connect to Server..."

2. Set the Service type to "Secure WebDAV (HTTPS)" Set the Server to "myfiles.letu.edu/students" Enter your LetNet user name int the User Name field.This is the same as the name you use to check your LeTourneau webmail account. Name the connection "LetNet MyFiles"

Note: A bug exists in some versions of Ubuntu which causes the "Secure WebDAV (HTTPS)" option to not appear. If this is the case, set the Service type to "Custom Location" and enter "davs://myfiles.letu.edu/students" in the "Location (URI)" field.

3. Click the "Places" menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Select "Computer"

4. Double click the "LetNet MyFiles" folder.

5. Enter your LetNet password in the dialog box that pops up. This is the same password that is used to log in to your LetNet mail account.

6. Within the "users" folder is a folder with your name on it. This is where you store your files.

7. On subsequent logons, Gnome will automatically reconnect to LetNet MyFiles. To prevent this, one may disconnect by returning to the "Computer" window, right clicking on the "LetNet MyFiles" icon, and selecting "Unmount Volume"
