What should I do if my browser freezes or crashes while taking a test or quiz?

Contact your course instructor. He or she can access the grade book for your course and reset your test so you can start over again.

If the instructor has created the test to allow you to see all of the questions at once, the instructor has no way to save any of the work you did so far on the test.

If the test was set to display and submit once question at a time, the instructor will be able to see your answers to the questions you had submitted before the computer froze. In this case you may ask your instructor if he or she would be willing to grade and record these answers before resetting your test. (Once a test is reset, all previous answers are erased.)
