Your course and fee statement is available through your MyLETU page on the Enrollment Checklist under View/Pay My Bill. The course and fee statement allows you to view tuition, fees, and housing costs prior to arriving at LETU for the semester. Please note that if you will be using the Textbook Butler program through Tree of Life to get your textbooks, those charges will not appear on your course and fee statement until the books arrive on campus approximately one week before the semester begins. You will be able to make payment or payment arrangements for the books after those charges area applied to your account.
Payment based on this course and fee statement should be sent to LeTourneau so that your registration status will be confirmed for the semester. The following payment options are available:
If you or your parents choose to make a debit/credit card payment, please do so through your Enrollment Checklist on the MyLETU page under the View/Pay My Bill option.
If you plan to pay by international wire transfer, please do so using our payment partner FlyWire.
LeTourneau University has chosen to partner with FlyWire to make your international payments safe and easy. FlyWire allows you to pay from almost any country and any bank. They also offer excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save money, compared to traditional banks. You will be able to track the progress of your payment throughout the transfer process with a student dashboard and you will also be notified by email when your payment is received by LeTourneau.
You can begin the process by creating an account at www.flywire.com/pay/letu and FlyWire will walk you through the process of initiating the wire transfer through your home bank.

Information typically needed to open a bank account:
Difference Between Savings Account and Checking Account
A savings account earns interest. If you have several hundred dollars above your routine living expenses, a savings account is a safe way to invest that money. Your checking account is designed for your daily transactions like your bills and spending. You can withdraw any amount from a regular (or passbook) savings account whenever it is necessary. If you have a savings and checking account at the same bank, you can transfer funds from your savings to your checking account over the phone or online.
Debit Cards/Check Cards
A debit card (also called a check card) is NOT the same as a credit card. When you use a debit card, the money is immediately withdrawn from your checking account. Therefore, it is important to know the balance in your account to avoid making purchases that exceed that amount.
Using an ATM
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), allow you to make cash withdrawals, deposits, and transfers between accounts. You can also view your account balance. This is free at your own bank and its branches, but when you use another bank’s ATM (for any reason), both your bank and the other bank could charge you a bank fee*. There is a limit on how much money you can withdraw from an ATM at one time or on one day. Check with your bank to see what the limit is.
*There is an ATM on LETU’s campus, located on the first floor of Allen Family Student Center the vending area across from the media room, but the campus ATM may not be your bank’s machine.
