Center for Global Service Learning

In communities all around the globe, there are disabled children using broken wheelchairs, families who are desperate for clean water or low-cost energy, and illiterate individuals seeking to understand basic instructions. At LeTourneau University, faculty and students are using their skills and resources to solve these problems through Global Service Learning projects.

The Center for Global Service Learning (CGSL) empowers faculty members and students to put their expertise and ingenuity to use creating sustainable solutions in developing communities that will ease human suffering and demonstrate God’s redeeming love. These teams work collaboratively and in a multidisciplinary fashion to solve real-world problems — and become not only successful graduates, but also responsible global citizens.
