LeTourneau School of Arts & Sciences

What brought you to LETU?

Opportunity. When I was looking at potential schools I wanted a place where I could continue my education in a Christian setting while also being able to fulfill my dream of playing college baseball. I found both of those at LeTourneau and so much more.

How would you describe your LETU Experience?

My experience at LeTourneau was one I wouldn't trade for anything. I was challenged to think critically and not just accept the things I grew up saying I believed.

Did any professors have a significant impact?

Several professors made a lasting impact on me while at LeTourneau- Dr. Olson, Dr. Watson, Dr. Batts and Dr. Morales constantly challenged me to dig deeper and push myself harder, all while practicing what they preached.

How has LETU prepared you for your career?

LeTourneau solidified my Christian values and equipped me with the critical thinking and decision making skills necessary to succeed in the fast-paced world of sports television.

What advice would you give to LETU students?

Never pass up an opportunity to network and connect with people who are experts in the field you are pursuing. Take time to get to know your professors and pinpoint the habits that have made them successful in their career and emulate those habits.
