More than likely, you've come to see what LETU is all about - and possibly find out how to enroll. So allow me the opportunity to quickly walk you through some aspects of our university. A lot more could be said, but we'll start here for now.
Located in East Texas, in the city of Longview, LETU empowers students to transform their world through spiritual growth and comprehensive academic learning. (We believe success in this world takes both.)
LETU stands uniquely among its peers in its leadership style for students. From a diverse campus life (seen in our Realities brochures) to intensive Christian leadership experiences (Center for the Development of Christian Leadership and IMPACT); from late-night conversations on campus (coffee, essentially) to traveling to third-world countries to assist nationals with health needs (LEGS and ARMS), we equip students to transform the world... and enjoy watching them do it!
So what does a typical LETU student look like?
First, the LETU student has a commitment to learning. We challenge our students to excel within their field of study. Second, they like to grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally. All of our campus actives (from class to chapel) are interwoven so that every part effects every other part, which is great! This is, truly, the heart of LETU: melding ingenuity and faith together so that the person who leaves our institution sees life through both.
