Provides flight and ground training required for the initial Single-Engine Flight Instructor Certificate which will be the Instrument Flight Instructor Certificate. Additional Flight Instructor Ratings that can be added to this certificate are the Airplane Single-engine Land (AERF 4621) and the Airplane Multi-engine Land Flight Instructor Certificates (AERF 4631). Includes approximately 18 hours of flight time (Skyhawk-15, Citabria-3) and 8 hours of simulator time.
Prerequisites: AERF 4603, a Commercial Single-engine Certificate with Instrument Rating, and the recommendation of senior flight department staff..
