|A study of the principles and methods embodied in a representative sampling of traditional and nontraditional processes for joining materials. Laboratory experience includes processes such as oxy-fuel gas, gas metal arc, flux cored arc, gas tungsten arc welding, laser beam, ultrasonic spot, atomic hydrogen, electric resistance spot, arc air gouging, and submerged arc welding. Also includes mechanical testing and metallography of completed welds. |
