Traditional Students Criminal Justice (CRIJ) Department of Criminal Justice CRIJ 1303 Introduction to Criminal Justice This course is a study of the history and philosophy of criminal justice. This course includes the law; law enforcement functions; corrections; and the court system. This course if offered through the Graduate and Professional Studies program. Class 3. CRIJ 1313 Criminal Law This course is a study of criminal law. This course focuses on the differences between civil and criminal law; defining crime; defenses; and constitutional law pertaining to criminal justice. In addition, this section addresses the fundamentals of sociology and philosophy of the law and criminal liability. This course is offered through the Graduate and Professional Studies program.
