Notes: The first Interdisciplinary concentration is Education and the second and third Interdisciplinary concentrations are Language Arts and a combination of courses. Students successfully completing the course READ 4363 and 6 additional course hours selected from EDUC or READ courses will be eligible to sit for the Supplemental English as a Second Language TExES exam. Students successfully completing the alternate two courses EDUC 4173, and EDUC 4373 (and one additional 3-hour course in READ, EDUC, or TESL) will be eligible to sit for the Supplemental Special Education TExES exam. 1: Both HIST 1113 Western Civilization to 1715 and HIST 1123 Western Civilization from 1715 may be substituted for both HIST 2113 and HIST 2123. 2: BIOL 1113 & 1111 General Biology I & Lab may be substituted for BIOL 1014; PHYS 1113 & 1111 General Physics I and Lab or PHYS 2514 may be substituted for PHYS 1014. 3: Students may substitute MEDU5163 Public School Law.
