Examines the process of Christian formation from both historical and personal perspectives. Attention is given to the unique personal and spiritual demands of the life and work of the counselor, the historical figures of the Church, and the contributions of modern-day scholars. Students are encouraged to focus on their own personal and spiritual formation and to view this dynamic as being foundational to the counseling process.
