Years Available: All | Examination of the philosophy, theoretical and practical foundations of the family systems approach to marital and family counseling/therapy. The major theorists, theories, various models, and practices are examined. The primary focus is upon the theories, principles, and language that support the numerous marriage and family therapy models. Among other theoretical models, Bowen Family Systems Theory is delineated.
